For the past two and a half years I’ve been back in college pursuing my undergraduate degrees in Art History and Studio Arts at Mills College in Oakland, California. The time has come to present to you all what I and my fellow classmates have been working on in our senior year. Join us on March 31st 2018 for the opening reception of Variable Dimensions, the 2018 Mills College Senior Thesis Exhibition at the Mills College museum. In the final week of the exhibition on April 11th 2018, the college will host an art party of cross disciplinary skills-shares, workshops, performances, readings and I will be auctioning five of my nest sculptures. The proceeds will go towards the housing of a DACA student at Mills College. Please join us at either or both of the events!

Hello everyone! I am showcasing one of my etchings from 2012 in the "Disconnect" NCWCA Members Exhibition at the Transmission Gallery located at 770 W Grand Avenue, Oakland, CA. The opening is on Friday June 6th from 6 to 9pm and it will run until July 19th.
In this exhibit, my work is the dry point etching “Blanco y Negro”, one of the many prints I created while living in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. This piece demonstrates beauty in it's own way, a silhouette in the middle of a colorless chaos and an aesthetic movement of dancing ink.

Exhibition "12" was a group exhibit with NCWCA located at 416 Warehouse in downtown Oakland on July 3rd, 2015.
This exhibit was focused on the works all members had created within the last 12 months giving it its name "12". I participated with two of my most recent paintings, "Satin Blue" and "Muybridge's Movements".
I created "Muybridge's Movements" as homage to Eadweard Muybridge, a photographer from the early 1900s who resided in San Francisco. Muybridge inspired me with his captivating photographs to create an abstract version of his moving silhouettes.
"Satin Blue" is a woman lying on her back who draws us into the canvas through the moving silk that covers her body. Creating a profound abstraction of a sensual invitation that also reminds the viewer to just admire the unrevealed beauty.
